- He tries his best to share information with villagers as required
- Mobilizes wananchi in self help projects (construction of a dispensary as an example)
- Follows up on the 'lazy ones'
- Unlike many VEOs, he supported village animators in demanding more transparency and participatory approaches in development projects in his village form the district council officials (his employer)
- He is simply anti uchakachuzi (anti corruption)

Thanks Lingson for complimenting Hussein! It is my wish that he has access to your blog. This is a motivation, fuel to keep up his work well done. His office should be one of the few you can find in our villages with such modern furniture!
Sure Mary, there are role models out there who are never celebrated. He is about 70 km metres away from Kasulu town, that being the case he is very unlikely to access this blog. You people reading this will, at the far end, inspire others.
As with furniture, i think it makes a big difference to have a committed and visionery leader.
